The position of closed cooling tower in circulating water cooling system Part.1 --Huatal Cooling Tower

I. First of all, what is circulating water cooling system?

Circulating water cooling system: Industrial circulating water cooling system is designed for production equipment cooling. Water is used as a cooling medium and recycling within the system. The cold water flows through the heat exchange components① attached to the production equipments that needs cooling. (①For example: heat exchanger, water condenser, water jacket, etc) Then got heated up and flow back to the closed cooling tower for temperature cooling, and recycling again.The amount of water consumption is greatly reduced, often saving more than 95%. Cooling water accounts for about 70% of the industrial water consumption. Therefore, the circulating water cooling system plays a role in saving industrial water.

II. The operation principle of circulating water cooling system

According the upper image shows, the circulating water did heat exchange process with the air&water by contacting with the coil pipes or filler/fills, then the rejected heat change cold dry air to hot humid air, and exhausted by the fan. 

III. What are the components of the circulating water cooling system?

Circulating water cooling system generally consists of the following parts:

    (1) Heat exchangers in operation;

    (2) Cooling structure;

    (3) Circulation pump and water basin;

Cooling water basin or cooling tower are commonly used as cooling structures to treat cooling water. It's operation principle is: The circulating water is transferred from the water pump to the main pipe, and then enters the production equipment requiring cooling treatment. After flowing through the part and heated up, it back to the main pipe and entering the cooling tower for heat exchange. During the operation of the fan at the top of the cooling tower, the water carring rejected heat flows on the fills and did heat exchange with the air flow sufficiently.
