Recently, we Huatal served a large domestic coal chemical enterprise. After we understood the key points of customer really needs, we organized a batch of plans, and the results were significantly praised by customers. The spiral plate heat exchanger of this project is made of two rolls, forming two uniform spiral channels. The two heat transfer media can carry out full counter-current flow, which greatly enhances the heat exchange effect. Even with small temperature differences, the two media can also achieve the ideal heat exchange effect. The pipe on the shell adopts tangential structure, with small local resistance. Because the curvature of the spiral channel is uniform, the liquid flow in the equipment does not have a large diversion, and the total resistance is small, so the design velocity can be improved to make it have a higher heat transfer capacity. The heat exchanger is mainly used for steam - liquid heat transfer.

The nominal pressure PN of the spiral plate heat exchanger is 2.5mpa (25kg/cm) (refers to the maximum working pressure of a single channel). The test pressure is 1.25 times of the working pressure. The carbon steel in contact with the medium is Q235B. Allowable operating temperature: t=0-+350℃, the liquid in the equipment channel reaches the turbulent state (general liquid velocity ≥0.5m/s; Gas ≥10m/s). Spiral-plate heat exchanger generally uses water/gas mixture as medium, which has the disadvantages of high heat and low cooling efficiency. For example, water vapor mixture, temperature: 102℃→85℃, flow rate: 20 m3/h, local average wet bulb temperature is 27.6℃. The calculation results are as follows:

Using spiral plate heat exchanger has the following advantages: 

1, high heat transfer efficiency (good performance). It is generally believed that the heat transfer efficiency of spiral plate heat exchanger is 1-3 times of that of tube heat exchanger. There is no flow dead zone in single channel of equal section, the disturbance of fixed distance column and spiral channel to flow reduces the critical Reynolds number of fluid, and the heat transfer coefficient of spiral plate heat exchanger can be up to 3000W/ (㎡.K) in water-water heat transfer. 

2. Effectively recover low-temperature heat energy. The spiral plate heat exchanger is made of two rolls. 

3. Strong operational reliability. The end face of the spiral channel of the non-detachable spiral plate heat exchanger is sealed by welding, so it has higher sealing property and ensures that the two working media do not mix. 

4. Low resistance. The pipe on the shell adopts tangential structure. Relatively low pressure loss, handling of large volumes of steam or gas; Have self-cleaning ability, because of its medium spiral flow, dirt is not easy to deposit; Easy to clean, steam or lye can be used to wash, simple and easy, suitable for installation of cleaning equipment; The medium goes through a single channel, allowing a higher flow rate than other heat exchangers. 

5. Multiple sets can be combined. When a single device cannot meet the service requirements, multiple devices can be combined, but the combination must meet the following requirements: parallel combination, series combination, equipment and channel spacing are the same. Hybrid combination: one channel in parallel, one channel in series. 

Closed cooling tower water and electricity saving, especially in the western region of China, the use of closed cooling tower in spiral plate heat exchanger, heat exchange efficiency is high, not easy to scale, water saving, more and more widely used.
