China Aviation Lithium Battery Project

CALB is a high-tech new energy company jointly invested and established by AVIC and its subordinate units, and held by AVIC Chengdu Aircraft Industrial (Group) Co., Ltd., which is specialized in the R&D and production of lithium ion power battery and battery management system. It is the leading domestic manufacturer of lithium ion power battery with high efficiency, long life and large capacity over 100AH. It is also the unit undertaking the national 863 major project "large-capacity lithium iron phosphate power battery and power module technology development". In 2016, 8 sets of Huatal HBW-21h type closed counter flow cooling towers were ordered, which has been put into use successfully.
