How does closed cooling tower save water?

Closed-circuit cooling towers are devices that exchange heat through heat transfer. When the ambient temperature is low, a large air intake volume leads to rapid moisture loss, and the exhaust of hot, humid air easily produces white mist. When the air intake surface of the cooling tower is affected by crosswinds, the air intake volume decreases, which is detrimental to heat dissipation.
