Selection of pipeline for closed cooling tower -- Huatal Closed Cooling Tower

Pipe material classification: metal material, plastic material, plastic metal composite material.

I. Meteal Material:

1. Hot Dipped Galvanized Pipe: galvanized steel pipe corrosion resistance will be greatly improved, but after a long time operation, it is easy to breed rust caused by pollution, this galvanized pipe is widely used in closed circulation cooling system, the cost is relatively low. With the growing maturity of galvanized pipe connection process, gradually replacing welding, its installation cost is also getting lower and lower, more and more customers adopts galvanized pipe.
   

2. Copper Pipe: it is characterized by high corrosion resistance, not easy to breed bacteria, good thermal conductivity, the joint may be divided into two kinds (1) sleeve joint, (2) welding joint. The drawback of copper pipe may be expensive, so there are just few customer's water supply systems adopts copper pipe. This material is not widely used for industrial cooling due to cost constraints.

3. Stainless Steel Pipe: characteristic to reduce the conductivity, so even if the cost is expensive, difficult to construct and many other factors, but it still be favored by lots of customers.

II. Plastic Material:

1.  PE Pipe: it's characteristics are non-toxic, light weight, pressure resistance, corrosion resistance, can fit cold or hot envirnment. It is also suitable for hot water pipes, even pure drinking water pipes. Polyethylene tubes, once installed together, won't leak for as long as hot-pressed tubes. But there are also disadvantages, PE pipe pressure resistance is insufficient, although the price is cheap but the price of accessories is expensive, so it is not suitable for closed cooling equipment,  that's why it isn't widely used.
   

III. Plastic Metal Composite Material:

1.  Aluminum-Plastic Composite Pipe: it is characterized by light weight, durable, convenient construction, and it is one of the popular pipe materials in the market at present. But its main disadvantage is that when it is used as a hot water pipe, long-term thermal expansion and cold contraction will cause dislocation of connection of the sleeve and cause leakage. Therefore, it is not widely used in industrial closed cooling tower system.
