The water circulating system is divided into:

1) Internal water circulating system: the cooled circulating water from coil pipes flows to the heat source (the cooling equipment) by the circulating water pump, then enters the coil pipes for cooling again after heat exchange, and so on.

2) External water circulating system: the external spray water cools the internal circulating water by contact with the infill material and coil pipes, then falls into the water sink and then circulating again by the spray pump. 

The heat exchange process of internal and external water circulating system is carried out by coil pipes, which can avoid the water pollution caused by the direct contact between the cooling water and air. As the spray water is pre-cooled by PVC infill, its heat transfer effect is more obvious. Compared with the open-type cooling tower, the crossflow closed cooling tower has remarkable water-saving effect.
