Structural composition of closed cooling towers

2025-02-21

The structural composition of closed cooling towers should include the following key parts:

1. Tower body: usually made of high-strength, corrosion-resistant materials such as steel plates, fiberglass or stainless steel, etc., used to accommodate internal components and protect them from the external environment.

2. Heat exchanger: core component, usually made of copper tubes, stainless steel tubes or carbon steel tubes, responsible for heat exchange between the fluid to be cooled and the air. Its structural form may be a plain tube, corrugated tube or finned tube, etc., to improve the heat exchange efficiency.

3. Fan: usually an axial flow fan is used, which is responsible for pumping air flow, so that hot and humid air is discharged from the top of the tower, and fresh air is introduced for heat exchange.

4. Spray system (partial configuration): including spray pumps, nozzles and water collection tanks, etc., used to spray cooling water onto the surface of the heat exchanger to enhance the heat exchange effect. In some configurations, this system may not be available, but other methods are used for cooling.

5. Electronic control system: used to control the start and stop of the fan and spray system and adjust its operating speed to ensure that the cooling tower works in a good state.

In addition, the closed cooling tower cannot include auxiliary components such as the water pipe valve of the water collector to ensure the normal operation of the equipment and efficient cooling effect.
