Analysis of vibration and heating problems of closed cooling towers

2024-11-07

I. Vibration problems of closed cooling towers:

There are many reasons for the vibration of the equipment fan, which can be checked from the following aspects:

(1) The impeller and the wind tube rub against each other and make a strong noise;

(2) The bracket is not strong enough or is not firm enough, which will also cause large vibration;

(3) The impeller rivets are loose or the impeller is deformed due to pressure during transportation;

(4) The screws connecting the bracket and the wind tube are loose, the blades are unbalanced, the blades are corroded, the balance block falls off or the bearing is damaged, causing severe vibration.

II. Heating problems of closed cooling towers:

After running for a period of time, if the motor is found to be hot, it may be caused by one of the following reasons:

(1) The motor bearing is damaged, and the matching clearance is too small and does not meet the requirements:

(2) The shaft and bearing are installed crookedly, and the two bearings are not of the same axiality;

(3) The pipe network resistance is too large, and the motor is overloaded;

(4) The power supply voltage is too low.

The above is the analysis of the causes of two problems that may occur when users operate closed cooling towers.
